Christening Jacob 2

All those who live in the Parish of St Lawrence with St Nicholas are entitled to marriage, baptism, and burial at their parish church. So are many others. Marriages, baptisms, and burials are very important and busy parts of our ministry. The Reverend Jane Nattrass, our Priest-in-Charge, will be glad to speak to you if you might be interested in getting married, or having your child baptised (or getting baptised yourself), or if you are arranging a funeral (whether you are thinking of a service at St Lawrence, at a cemetery, or at a crematorium).  Please contact her by:

Our beautiful church is a wonderful place for these occasions to take place (as well as having practical advantages like its size and its car park). It is usually possible to have the church bells rung for occasions, or for a single bell to be tolled at a funeral, and we have a very able organist. Our priest will be happy to discuss any of these things with you.

With thanks to Baby Jacob and family for the photograph.
