St Lawrence's Church Community Hall is a flexible venue able to host more than 100 people for a wide range of events, available for hire generally at a rate of £15 PER HOUR. The Hall has a modern kitchen, three toilets, a large floorspace, good disabled access, and extensive parking, and it is well-heated and insulated. There are plenty of chairs and tables – and a piano - for those who need them. There is also a smaller office space available for hire at a lower rate for some meetings.

The Hall is held by the Vicar and Churchwardens of the parish as trustees, and is managed by their appointed Hall Manager. It was opened by Archbishop William Temple in 1935 - his mallet from this occasion is usually on display in the Hall - although some work was left to be done and it was almost immediately requisitioned for government use in the Second World War. The Hall was refurbished in the 1980s and another refurbishment was largely completed by Summer of 2016, with a new kitchen, new flooring, new windows, new boiler and insulation, extensive repainting, and other repairs and modernising improvements. Further improvements are to come.
