The Church Hall has been refurbished over the last 24 months. Read about it here.
The Hall is held by the Vicar and Churchwardens of the parish as trustees, and is managed by their appointed Hall Manager, presently Mr Alan Hardwick. It was opened by Archbishop William Temple in 1935 - his mallet from this occasion is displayed in the Hall - although some work was left to be done and it was almost immediately requisitioned for government use in the Second World War. The Hall was refurbished in the 1980s and another refurbishment was largely completed by Summer of 2016, with a new kitchen, new flooring, new windows, new boiler and insulation, extensive repainting, and other repairs and modernising improvements. Further improvements are to come.
