The PCC hope to begin a programme of internal decorations once the building has adequately dried out following the installation of new and effective central heating in 2016.  This could take up to 2 - 3 years. Once the building has dried out and it is sensible to begin decorations the architect has suggested reverting to the buildings original colour schemes.  These include a 'duck egg blue' colour for the clerestory, and rich pinks and reds in the sanctuary.  There was heavy stencilling around the building including a number of exotic birds and butterflies as well as 'Glory to God in the Highest' painted over the chancel arch.
