Evensong Lent Term
Choral Evensong returns for 9 weeks on the 12th of January, until the 9th of March. Evensong is every sunday at 18:30pm. Below is a poster featuring all our preachers, and under that are further details on each service.

Tuesday 4th March – Shrove Tuesday – Evensong & Pancake Party – 5:30pm
Sacrament of Confession also available in church form 4:30pm/
Wednesday 5th March – Ash Wednesday – Sung Mass & Imposition of Ashes – 7:30pm
Sunday 9th March – Bishop of Blackburn – Choral Evensong & Benediction – 6:30pm
Tuesday 25th March – Annunciation of Our Lady – High Mass – 7:30pm
Sunday 30th March – Mothering Sunday – Sung Mass – 10:15am
Sunday 13th April – Palm Sunday – Blessing of Palms & Sung Mass – 10:15am
Monday 14th March – Holy Monday – Choral Tenebrae – 8pm
Thursday 17th April – Maundy Thursday – Sung Mass and Vigil of Prayer – 7:30pm
Friday 18th April – Good Friday – Good Friday Liturgy – 2pm
12pm – Stations of the Cross. 1pm – Church open for silent prayer. 2pm – Veneration of the Cross & Mass of the Pre-Sanctified
Saturday 18th April – Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil with Lighting of the Paschal Candle – 7:30pm
Sunday 18th April – Easter Sunday
10:15am – Sung Mass. 6:30pm – Evensong & Benediction
